Talk to your Mac. The words land where you’re typing.
An animation of Rillo’s recording pill follows: it listens, shows your words in a bubble above it, cleans them up, then pastes them where you’re typing.
macOS 26 or later
Press a key and talk
Tap your key for hands-free or hold it to talk, and the light around the pill follows your voice.
Transcribed on your Mac
Words appear as you speak, and your voice doesn’t leave your Mac unless you choose.
Optional cleanup
Turn it on and a cloud model tidies the transcript through your own API key, and Rillo never bills for it.
tomorrow or i mean rather thursday
Lands where your cursor is
Rillo pastes the text straight into the app you’re working in, whether that’s mail, chat or a code editor.

Your speech stays on your Mac.
The speech model runs on your Mac, so dictation works offline. Nothing you say leaves it unless you turn on a cloud feature with your own key. [copy]
Your own word list.
Add the names, terms and jargon you use, so Rillo gets them right. [copy]
Optional cleanup, on your own key.
Enter your own Cerebras API key and the transcript is tidied after it is written. The text goes to Cerebras through your key, and Rillo never bills you for it. [copy]
When cleanup is slow (about 1 s), you are offline, or the result fails its check, the raw transcript is pasted instead. [copy]
It lands where you were typing.
One key starts and stops dictation: tap it for hands-free, or hold it to talk. Escape cancels. [copy]
The text is pasted at the cursor in whatever app you are in: mail, chat, a code editor, an AI chat window. [copy]
